As the acting CEO, Anthony took a leading role in orchestrating the unveiling event, handling the planning and even crafting the speech for Linda. This responsibility fell on him as Linda was engrossed in her lectures during the week, making it necessary for him to step in.

On the much-anticipated day, a plethora of distinguished men and women graced the occasion, their presence evident from the impressive fleet of cars that lined the entrance. The grandiosity of their arrival underscored the prominence of the attendees at the unveiling event.

As the audience settled into their seats, Linda ascended the podium to initiate her speech.

"Good day, ladies and gentlemen. Before I delve into the heart of the matter, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your presence today. Your attendance assures me that what we're about to unveil is significant, and I assure you, your presence won't be in vain," Linda stated.

"Today, we stand on the brink of introducing a life-changing invention. To be candid, my father conceptualized the plan for it, and it has materialized into something truly remarkable. Attached to his drawing was a letter that resonates deeply with me. It read, 'You are my greatest invention, and whatever I start, you will finish because I believe in you more than anyone,'" Linda shared, adding a personal touch to the unveiling.

Upon reading the heartfelt letter from her father, the depth of trust and love resonated with Linda, igniting a determination to prove that his faith in her was not misplaced.

"Today, we are unveiling PrimeAutomobile," Linda announced, and as the name echoed, a video unfolded on the gigantic screen. It showcased a revolutionary car that operated without the need for diesel, emphasizing the capability to charge and use it as desired. The video eloquently detailed why PrimeAutomobile stood as the epitome of the next generation of cars.

As the video concluded, the entire audience rose to their feet, applauding vigorously. The invention had left a profound impact, capturing the imagination of those present. Post-unveiling, a stream of attendees approached Linda, expressing their admiration and eagerness to purchase PrimeAutomobile as soon as it became available, undeterred by the potential price. As Linda moved through the crowd, greeting attendees, she accidentally bumped into someone, causing his phone to slip from his grasp. Swiftly, she bent down to retrieve it, apologizing profusely.

"Oh, I'm so sorry; I wasn't looking where I was going," she expressed as she handed the phone back. However, as she raised her head, she found herself face to face with a remarkably handsome and tall gentleman. Linda was momentarily taken aback by his appearance.

"It's fine; I should have seen you coming," he reassured with a friendly smile.

"Really, I apologize," Linda replied, still a bit dumbfounded by his presence.

Curious about Franklin's family, Linda inquired, "Which family are you from?"

Franklin responded, "I'm from the Mariano family. I'm Franklin, and I already know you – the most beautiful girl in the city, right?" he added, complimenting Linda, who blushed at the praise.

Surprised, Linda admitted, "Mariano family? I haven't actually heard of this family before." As her curiosity lingered, Anthony approached from behind, greeting Franklin, "Hey, Franklin, you finally made it," revealing a connection between the two.

"Linda, this is Franklin; his family just moved in a few months ago," Anthony introduced.

Linda connected the dots, saying, "Oh, I guess you were the one that invited him." Anthony nodded, confirming, "Yeah, I invited him. He's been a bit lonely in this city, so I thought bringing him to an event like this would be good."

Anthony went on to share more about Franklin's background, explaining, "Franklin's parents own hospitals, and their family didn't originally live in this city. They reside elsewhere, but Franklin now lives here, and he's been feeling a bit lonely." Franklin listened as Anthony provided these details about him.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Frank," Linda said, shaking his hand. The handshake lingered for a moment as Linda found herself captivated by his striking crystal eyes. Despite trying to maintain her composure, Franklin's presence had an undeniable effect on her.

Suddenly, another girl approached Linda, diverting her attention. "Hey, there's this family that wants to meet with you," she informed Linda. Linda excused herself, saying, "I'll see you later, Frank."

"You too, Linda," Franklin replied, acknowledging her departure with a warm smile.

As Linda departed, Anthony turned to face Franklin. "What brings you here?" he inquired.

"Well, you seemed to have failed to win her trust, so we're on plan B," Franklin explained cryptically.

Confused, Anthony asked, "What do you mean, plan B?"

"Maybe you should talk that out with the boss," Franklin suggested. He took out his phone, dialed a number, and handed the phone to Anthony after it rang for a few seconds. The mysterious nature of the conversation left Anthony curious about the unfolding plan. 

Upon taking the phone, Anthony retreated to a room to discuss with the boss.

"Hey, boss, Franklin mentioned something about plan B," Anthony informed.

Gideon revealed, "We'll take over the company in another way. This time, win her heart through love. Once they get married, I'll kill the little witch. Your job from today onwards is to help Franklin get on her good side."

Anthony hesitated, stating, "But I told you I had this under control and was still building her trust."

Gideon's anger flared, "It's been almost a year, and I don't see any progress! So, listen to me. You're going to play matchmaker, help the girl fall in love with him. That's all I want. Hope I can count on you." Gideon's intense instructions left Anthony with a challenging task ahead.

"I can, but there's a problem," Anthony stated.

Gideon demanded, "What's that?"

"She's already in love with someone and planning to marry him if he comes back from studies," Anthony revealed.

"What?! Who the hell is that?" Gideon asked urgently.

"He goes by the name Richard," Anthony answered.

Gideon instructed firmly, "Get me everything on this boy, both his family and him."

"Okay, boss, but what will you do with him?" Anthony inquired.

Gideon coldly responded, "Well, I'm going to kill him and wipe his family out of existence." The revelation sent a shiver down Anthony's spine, realizing the severity of the situation.
