MY PERFECT BODY GUARD 2 CHAPTER TWENTY NINE INTO THE FRAY

Richard and Emma were engrossed in playing video games in the sitting room, but Emma seemed distracted. "Hey bro, what's up?" Richard asked casually, noticing Emma's lack of focus.

Emma glanced at the clock and let out a sigh. "It's already 4 pm, and we haven't heard anything from them. I have a bad feeling about this."

Richard smirked and teased, "I thought you were advising me to stay away from Linda for the time being. Looks like someone's missing her."

"I'm not missing Nina. I just feel like maybe Gideon has gotten to them or something," Emma retorted.

"Admit it, mate, you miss her," Richard teased further. "You know what? I'm starting to feel uneasy too. How about we check their location and go see them?"

Emma hesitated, knowing it might not be a good idea, but eventually agreed. "Alright, let's do that," he said as they moved to the room and opened the laptop to track their whereabouts.

As they went through the laptop, they discovered that Linda and Nina had switched off their location. "OMG, they switched off their location," Richard exclaimed.

"Why would they do that? What if something happened to them?" Emma expressed his concern.

"Hey, you're beginning to overreact. Let's just go to the mall and check on them," Richard suggested calmly as they put on their long jackets and headed out on the bike.

As they reached the shopping mall, they spotted Linda and Nina's car. "See bro, I told you you were just overreacting out of love. They're totally fine. Let's go home; you don't want them thinking we're kind of stalking them," Richard remarked.

Emma nodded in agreement, relieved to see their car. "Yeah, you're right. Let's head back," he said as they turned to leave, satisfied that everything was alright.

As Emma headed to the bike, he realized that Richard wasn't following him; instead, Richard was gazing at the mall. "Son of a bitch," Emma muttered under his breath as he raced back to Richard, following him into the mall.

"I thought we were supposed to leave," Emma said, slightly frustrated.

"They're not here," Richard replied calmly.

"How do you know that? Do you see them?" Emma questioned, feeling a surge of anxiety.

"Well, no, but they could be anywhere in here. The mall is a big one," Emma pointed out.

Richard approached the cashier and asked, "Hey, have you seen two girls? One is slim, gorgeous, and has an innocent face, and the other is a little chubby."

The cashier nodded in recognition. "They paid for their clothes and left about an hour or two ago," she informed them.

They raced back outside and saw that Linda and Nina's car was still parked there. Panicked, they hurried back to the cashier.

"Where do you think they might have gone, Emma?" Richard asked urgently.

"How am I expected to know that? I'm just a cashier here," she replied defensively.

"Did they mention anything about where they were going?" Richard pressed further.

"All I know is that they changed clothes here too after buying a lot," the cashier informed them.

"What kind of clothes?" Richard and Emma asked simultaneously.

"Well, they were party kind of clothes," she replied.

With a sinking feeling, Richard tapped his earpod. "Hey Laura, can you check the location we gave to Nina and find her last known location?"

After some checking and beeping, Laura replied, "It's the club just two minutes from the mall."

Immediately, Richard and Emma raced to the club, their hearts pounding with worry.

As they both raced to the club, Richard couldn't resist teasing Emma. "Just to clarify, are we racing there because we're scared they may be cheating on us or they shouldn't be there?" he joked.

Emma let out a heavy sigh but added speed to his legs as they headed into the party. Unfortunately, when they arrived, they found that no one was there.

They approached a young girl who seemed to be about 16 years old. "Hey, I thought there was something going on here," Richard asked the girl.

"The party ended an hour ago," she replied casually as she continued cleaning up.

"Now I'm really worried," Richard admitted, his concern growing. "Where did they go now?"

"Laura, can you send 10 drones to scout the area?" Richard requested urgently.

After giving Laura instructions, they raced to the CCTV camera post to search for any clues. As they scanned the footage, their hearts sank when they noticed Linda and Nina being lifted unconscious into a van.

"Shit! Damn!" they both exclaimed in unison, realizing the seriousness of the situation.

As Linda and Nina began to wake from the effects of the drugs, they found themselves surrounded by armed men in the warehouse.

"Who are you guys?" Linda asked, her voice trembling with fear.

As Stanley stepped out from one of the rooms, Linda's heart sank. "Stanley? What are you doing? Why did you kidnap me?" she demanded, her voice filled with disbelief and anger.

"My love, Linda, long time no see," Stanley greeted her with a sinister smile.

"Stanley, why?" Linda pleaded, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Believe me, I've been wanting to, but I've been waiting for the right time to strike. Too bad I didn't do it before you got married," Stanley confessed. "And to be honest with you, I'm not happy about it, because I still kinda want you. I heard Gideon is planning to kill you once you're married to Franklin, but it seems he hasn't yet. You can still run to me, and I will protect you if you agree to marry me," Stanley offered, his tone both menacing and desperate.

"You're a fool if you think I'm going to marry you," Linda retorted defiantly. "Who's this, Linda?" Nina asked, puzzled. "It's Stanley, one of the few people who are after my company, and he's no friend at all," Linda clarified.

"I knew you would act this way; that's why I planned ahead," Stanley said cryptically.

"What did you plan?" Linda demanded, her heart pounding with fear and anger.

"Well, if I must have you, I have to kill Franklin," Stanley confessed coldly.

"You're a fool if you think that will make me want to marry you," Linda shot back, her voice trembling with rage.

"Look, Linda, look at the brighter picture. If you're with me, we can create an empire together in your business. I wouldn't kill you just to have the wealth to myself, and I will protect you," Stanley reasoned, his tone tinged with desperation.

"I already have enough protection," Linda replied firmly, refusing to entertain Stanley's twisted logic.

"Well, you leave me with no other choice," Stanley said as he picked up his phone, his expression turning ominous

. "I'm calling Gideon," Stanley declared coldly. "My dad's company is at stake, and if Gideon can pay at least 100 million dollars, I can let him do with you whatever he wants."

Linda's heart sank at the realization of the danger she was in. "So tell me now, will you marry me and share the company with you, and I will protect you," Stanley pressed again.

"Go to hell!" Linda shouted, her voice filled with defiance and anger.

Ignoring Linda's outburst, Stanley immediately made the call to Gideon. Within moments, Gideon had already sent 50 falcons Stanley's way with the cash, sealing Linda's fate in a terrifying turn of events.

After hours of waiting, the falcons arrived, and as the deal was being struck and the exchange was taking place, someone threw a smoke bomb into the warehouse. Smoke filled the entire room, causing everyone inside to cough uncontrollably. Suddenly, two figures emerged from behind Linda and Nina, swiftly placing smoke preventers over their faces.

As they were led out of the warehouse, Linda and Nina realized it was Richard and Emma who had come to their rescue. However, their relief was short-lived as the armed men inside the warehouse noticed the newcomers and immediately attacked them. Richard and Emma fought valiantly, helping Linda and Nina into the car, but they were outnumbered. It was like two against seventy men.

Despite the intensity of the fight, the smoke had already taken its toll on them, weakening their strength. However, Richard and Emma managed to subdue the attackers in a matter of time, using their skill and determination to overcome the odds and rescue Linda and Nina.

As the rescue was complete, Richard and Emma carefully placed Linda and Nina on the bed to sleep after the ordeal they had endured. They tucked them in gently, ensuring they were comfortable and safe, before stepping back to survey the room.

Exhausted but relieved, Richard and Emma shared a silent moment of gratitude for their successful rescue mission. Then, with heavy hearts and weary bodies, they made their way to a corner of the room to rest, keeping a watchful eye over Linda and Nina as they slept, ready to protect them at a moment's notice.
