MY PERFECT BODY GUARD CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR:DARK INTENTIONS

 Samuel remains in the hospital, unconscious and in a deep coma. Beside him, his wife sits by his hospital bed, her face etched with anguish. She clutches his hand tightly, her voice trembling as she pleads, "Please, awaken for me. Wake up for our children. I cannot bear this burden alone," she implores, tears streaming down her face. "Raising four children by myself is a daunting task, and I need you," she whispers, her heart heavy with worry.

In Gloria's house, she and her son, Robert, engage in a tense meeting. Gloria expresses her concern about Samuel not waking up yet and suggests that they need to take action. She's convinced that Samuel's wife must know about their secret relationship.

Robert, however, advises caution. He believes that it's possible Jim, Samuel's wife, hasn't revealed their encounter to jim. He suggests a strategic approach, taking things step by step. If Samuel wakes up, they can try to gain his support, which would weaken Jim and Stella's position, making them vulnerable.

Gloria's frustration with Robert boiled over as she stared at him in anger. "I can't believe I've invested so much in your upbringing only for you to appear weak," she exclaimed. "We're talking about Prime Tech, and I'm fighting to secure your future, yet you suggest caution?"

Robert, regretful, replied, "I'm sorry, Mom. I was just offering a suggestion."

But Gloria remained resolute. "It doesn't matter whether Jim knows or not. We must act immediately. Even if Samuel wakes, I doubt he'll be easily persuaded to turn against Jim. He's fiercely loyal. We have to bring Jim down, and I won't be convinced otherwise," she declared, pacing the room with her fingers clenched in determination.

Robert inquired about their plan, and Gloria confidently responded, "Yes, I have a plan. First, we need to eliminate our adversaries one by one. We'll begin with Samuel. If we can't win him over to our side, then Jim won't have his loyalty either."

Robert, both terrified and amazed by his mother's determination, quickly sprang into action. Gloria instructed him to ready their men and the car, setting a meeting time of 7 PM at Mother Theresa Hospital. She was determined to start with Samuel.

As Gloria left the room, she reminded Robert, "Don't stand there. Do what I've asked you to do." He promptly followed her orders, leaving to deliver the instructions to their team as swiftly as possible.

At 6:52 PM, Laura, Samuel's wife, remained by his side, her tears still streaming down her face. A nurse approached her and kindly asked her to go home to fetch Samuel's nightly essentials, including food and clothes. Laura left for the task, unknowingly leaving her husband's side.

Moments later, a group of masked men brandishing guns stormed into the hospital, shouting at everyone to get down. Terrified, the hospital employees immediately complied, covering their faces with the ground. The intruders swiftly disabled the CCTV cameras.

Within a minute, Gloria and Robert burst through the hospital doors. They coerced one of the employees into revealing Samuel's location, and when they arrived, they found Samuel connected to life support. In a chilling act, Gloria unplugged the machine, uttering, "You could have joined me when you had the chance." After a brief struggle, Samuel succumbed to his fate, his life extinguished.

Once their grim mission was accomplished, Gloria and Robert hastily departed the hospital, leaving behind a scene of chaos and grief.

When Laura returned to the hospital and heard the horrifying news, she let out a piercing scream, then collapsed, fainting from the shock. Hospital staff quickly admitted her for care.

Meanwhile, back at home, Jim was watching the news report about the hospital incident. As he saw the terrible events unfold, tears streamed down his face. Suddenly, his phone rang, and he answered it. It was Gloria on the other end.

"You can see how far I'm willing to go to claim what's rightfully mine," she threatened. "I'll ask you nicely, Jim, give up the company to me or face the same fate."

Jim, his voice trembling with grief and anger, retorted, "You've killed my best friend, and you think I'll forgive you? You've started a war that you won't be able to end."

Gloria laughed sinisterly. "You don't seem to understand, Jim. You don't stand a chance against me. We'll see how this unfolds. I'll destroy you and even let your daughter accompany you. Get ready because this is just the beginning." With those chilling words, she hung up.

Jim, overwhelmed, broke down in tears, clutching his head as he grappled with the dire situation unfolding before him.
